About the Role The Associate Account Executive (AAE) will assist in expanding our customer base to new laboratories. The AAE is regularly the first contact with our prospective client base, and ideally has a clear understanding of the overall sales process, with strong emphasis on properly nurturing qualified business opportunities so they can be advanced from initial contact, to the demo stage, and through preliminary evaluations with support from our Sales and Product teams. This position is based in Europe. To be considered, candidates must currently reside and be legally authorized to work in a European country. We are unable to consider international applicants outside of this region at this time. Responsibilities <ul> <li>Prospect, qualify, follow up and educate a high volume of leads into prospects; understand and uncover laboratory needs and business problems to effectively communicate how Techcyte can help solve them</li> <li>Proactively generate sales meetings and opportunities for Account Executives (AEs) by positioning the value of Techcyte; provide accurate lead distribution and thorough discovery to AEs</li> <li>Work alongside the AEs to progress the sales prospects through the initial phases of the sales cycle</li> <li>Lead the customer through early evaluation processes with the AE</li> <li>Consistently achieve quota to ensure revenue and growth objectives; use Techcyte systems and sales enablement tools according to Techcyte standards; provide metrics on leads</li> <li>Comfortable talking with prospects and internal/external customers, building relationships, and monetizing them; ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment while still providing quality opportunities and driving revenue</li> <li>Strong entrepreneurial personality, self-motivated and self-managing; strong team orientation and ability to build cross-functional relationships</li> <li>Capacity to develop relationships quickly via phone, email, and virtual meetings with medical/scientific/technical audiences</li> <li>Understanding of sales cycles and required qualification criteria; ability to understand complex business environments and uncover customer issues, process problems, and translate need into business opportunities</li> <li>Establish, manage, and maintain partner relationships and coordinate with them to further advance prospects in the sales cycle</li> <li>Coordinate internal teams to ensure smooth customer experiences in the initial stages of the sales cycle</li> <li>Occasional travel for conferences and additional prospecting </li> </ul> The stuff that makes you the ideal candidate <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University, preferably in microbiology/laboratory science/life sciences </li> <li>1 year of experience in a professional sales position (any industry)</li> <li>Written & verbal communication skills in English</li> <li>HubSpot.com and Google Workspace experience is a plus </li> </ul> So there you have it.
