Clinic Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Clinic Assistant to join our team at Regency Medical Care Centre Sdn Bhd, Midvalley Southkey in Johor Bahru, Johor. This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the efficient and smooth operation of our healthcare facility.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and welcoming patients, ensuring a positive first impression

  • Scheduling and managing patient appointments, maintaining accurate records

  • Handling phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries in a professional manner

  • Assisting patients with treatment or investigation appointments across departments

  • Ensuring follow-up appointments are properly explained and updated in the HIS system

  • Assisting healthcare professionals with various administrative tasks

  • Ensuring the clinic environment is clean, organised and well-stocked

  • Providing general support to the healthcare team as needed

  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to relevant policies and procedures

What we're looking for
  • Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent

  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays

  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour

  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities

  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records

  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software

  • Adaptability and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care
