What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Controller, with analytical skills and business vision our Global Finance Team in our Headquarters (Madrid).

Mission

You will support the collection, analysis, and control of financial and commercial information, ensuring the correct execution of reporting processes and contributing to the efficiency and automation of analysis tools. This role will be key in identifying opportunities to improve profitability and optimize costs, working closely with the financial and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of monthly financial reports, including P&L statements and variance analysis.

  • Collaborate in the control and monitoring of the commercial budget and forecast.

  • Assist in evaluating profitability margins by customer, channel, and product.

  • Review monthly gross margins to ensure all margin commitments are protected and margin improvement initiatives are executed.

  • Lead the benchmarking of competitive margins and profitability.

  • Manage the financial evaluation of promotions (trade and consumer) and work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure financial commitments on expenses are met.

  • Work with commercial teams to measure customer and brand profitability, influencing trade spend allocation with accounts.

  • Analyze and monitor commercial and marketing costs, identifying opportunities for optimization.

  • Prepare, maintain, and update commercial and financial performance reports.

  • Support the optimization and automation of reporting tools to improve efficiency.

  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of data used in financial analyses.

  • Provide insights and generate key information to support commercial decision-making.

  • Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to collect relevant data and track commercial KPIs.

  • Assist in managing commercial agreements and discount structures with clients.

  • Adapt to support both global requirements and the specific needs of the commercial units, depending on business priorities.

You will need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.

  • 3–4 years’ experience in financial control, commercial analysis, or related areas.

  • Intermediate-advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis tools (Power BI).

  • Experience with financial ERP systems (SAP) is a plus.

  • Advanced English.
