Key Responsibilities Operate a delivery van or light truck to transport packages to designated customer locations. Plan and optimize daily delivery routes for maximum efficiency. Load and unload packages, ensuring secure transport and proper handling. Obtain proof of delivery from customers, which may include signatures or photos. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally. Maintain accurate delivery records and report any discrepancies or issues. Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Meet daily delivery volume targets and performance metrics. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (DMV printout required). Proven experience in delivery driving or a similar role. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning software. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds. Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Must reside within or near the San Jose, California area.
