Manufacturing Supervisor/ Lead/ Manager (CNC & EP)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage front-end CNC process planning, including job setup, routing, and workflow design

  • Review technical drawings, CAD models, and customer specifications to determine machining requirements

  • Develop and optimize CNC machining strategies, including tooling selection, cutting parameters, and process sequencing

  • Oversee process validation, simulation, and first-article readiness

  • Ensure all documentation (setup sheets, work instructions, tooling lists) is complete and standardized

  • Identify opportunities for cycle time reduction and cost optimization

  • Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth process handover

  • Troubleshoot and resolve pre-production and process-related issues

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards

  • Train and mentor engineers, programmers, and technicians on process improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • At least 5 years of experience in CNC machining, with strong exposure to process planning or manufacturing engineering

  • Proven experience in CNC programming (e.g., 3-axis, 4-axis, 5-axis machining, lathe)

  • Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Siemens NX, CAMWORKS, Fusion 360, or similar)

  • Deep understanding of machining processes, tooling, materials, and cutting technologie

  • Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English, Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.

  • Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
