Easy Apply now by clicking the "Easy Apply" button<br>and sending us your resume.<br>Salary: $240,000 - $300,000 per year<br><br><br><strong><u>A bit about us:<br><br></u></strong>A dynamic leader in construction focused on innovation, collaboration, and meaningful impact in the healthcare sector.<br><br><br><strong><u>Why join us?<br><br></u></strong>Competitive salary $243,000–$300,000/year based on experience<br>Opportunity to lead the Healthcare market segment with significant business development influence<br>Hybrid flexibility across multiple Northern and Southern California locations<br>Career growth in a high-performance, safety-focused environment<br>Role shaping strategy, teams, and client relationships in a key industry<br><br><br><strong><u>Job Details<br><br></u></strong>Job Details / Responsibilities:<br><br>Serve as the lead strategist for the Healthcare market segment, driving new pursuits and strengthening key industry relationships<br>Delegate participation in healthcare trade associations and forums to raise the firm’s profile<br>Collaborate with Preconstruction, Marketing, and Executive teams to shape pursuit and pricing strategies<br>Identify and win new healthcare project opportunities using established pursuit methodologies<br>Guide the bid process and lead preconstruction efforts to ensure accuracy and competitiveness<br>Negotiate contracts with owners and subcontractors to optimize risk and margin<br>Provide senior leadership across project lifecycles—start-up through turnover—ensuring performance, safety, and quality<br>Oversee financial reporting, forecasting, and profitability measures across the project portfolio<br>Conduct regular project health reviews to monitor performance, budget, schedule, and team dynamics<br>Build and mentor high-performing teams; lead recruitment, development, and retention strategies<br>Provide coaching and guidance to foster excellence, accountability, and collaboration<br>Implement best practices such as Lean, VDC, Sustainability, and other innovative tools to drive efficiency<br>Own enduring client relationships; act as senior escalation and liaison for owners, designers, and partners<br>Drive outstanding client satisfaction through transparent communication and consistent delivery<br>Embed and elevate a safety-first culture on every project and across all teams<br><br>Qualifications:<br><br>15+ years of construction leadership experience with a strong focus on healthcare projects (Sacramento or Northern California experience a plus)<br>Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field<br>Demonstrated ability to manage large/complex and multiple simultaneous projects profitably<br>Skilled in business development, pursuit leadership, client management, and market positioning<br>Deep understanding of preconstruction strategy, contract types, risk mitigation, and cost control<br>Proven track record building and developing successful project teams<br>Natural ambassador of organizational culture, ethics, and safety excellence<br><br>Interested in hearing more?
